Mashal is a charitable social organization deeply committed to creating meaningful change among marginalized communities. Registered under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 (Reg. No: 708/2000-01) and the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 (Reg. No: 031170409), Mashal has been a beacon of hope and empowerment since its inception in 2000.
As the socio-health wing of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Patna, Mashal’s mission is rooted in compassion, service, and a relentless drive to uplift the underserved. Since obtaining FCRA registration in 2008, we have undertaken transformative projects through our FCR Account and collaborated with the Bihar Government on impactful programs that touch lives at the grassroots.
Our Head Office located at 20- C Patliputra colony, Patna serves as the central hub for coordination, administration, and strategic leadership of all our programmes across the region. From here, our team works closely with field Units, partners, and community networks to ensure smooth implementation, timely support, and effective monitoring of every initiative.
Through the years, Mashal has been unwavering in its dedication to rural health and the empowerment of women and girls from marginalized sections of society. Our efforts span several states in India, focusing on building healthier communities and nurturing opportunities for personal and collective growth.
