Mashal is a non-profit organization based in Bihar, founded in 2000. It is the Socio-health wing of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Patna, Bihar. Mashal is Committed to accompany and enable the marginalized communities to affirm and uphold their rights and dignity. Mashal has set a goal of awareness building, education and empowerment of women and adolescent girls, especially among the most underprivileged groups of the Indian Caste System through community based organization of women and girls and experience-based participatory mode of training, workshops, and exposure programs towards developing confidence, self-worth, leadership to enable them to become change agents for the transformation of our society.
